Comer consciente…
- Desligue o telemóvel, livro, computador e a televisão.
- O telemóvel, livro, computador e a televisão, não está connosco à mesa. (Penso que se deve à minha infância, comíamos com a televisão ligada e não nos dava a oportunidade de falarmos);

Mindful March – Day 8: Eat mindfully. Appreciate the taste, texture and smell of your food
Conscious eating…
1) Why?
What motivates you to eat is an emotion or a need?
2) When?
Eat every 3 hours? But maybe it’s better every 2 hours or 4 hours. That’s why it’s so important to observe and define the best dynamic for you.
3) Where?
Eating in silence, calmly, or with quiet music in the background is much better than in the noise, with loud sounds. Silence brings us to the present, connects us with the now, makes us feel calmer and more relaxed. The intensity of the light, the other people, the smells, everything influences.
3) How? AVOID DISTRACTIONS, Take a deep breath and take your time.
Turn off your cell phone, book, computer and television. Be present at meal times.
Before eating, take a few deep breaths.
Feel the flavors, the smells, every part of the food. Chew several times, enjoying it and eat slowly.
4) Stop eating when you feel satisfied.
The moment you feel satisfied, hunger has passed, stop eating. Again: listen to your body and respect it.
Today, Honor your body… when reading these recommendations, I see that I have two rules, here at home, at mealtime:
The cell phone, book, computer and television are not with us at the table. (I think it’s due to my childhood, we eat with the television on and it didn’t give us the opportunity to talk);
Eating Sitting down and never standing up, even at breakfast (quieter meal)
I wish you a wise eating day!
